The powers of the Supreme Court rely on the trust in the American people. The rules and regulations of the Supreme Court have changed throughout the course of many years because we as a country have to adapt to our environment. We make sure everyone speaks once before anyone speaks twice which shows equality that we have as Americans. There are many Court cases and usually the first draft can take up to 4 weeks and when they have to make revisions and adjustments it could take up to 4 months during the process. Thousands of cases are brought to them each year and they only handle about one hundred of them because those are the only ones worth the time of our justices. The Supreme Court can hear cases prosecuted by the U.S. government and can also hear just about any kind of state-court case, as long as it involves federal law, including the Constitution.
