Free Expression

The First Amendment has many value of free expression these are what keep and make society and government to what they were today and what they will become.

Giving people the freedom they need is a necessity because it calms down all of society and letting them speak freely enables the Government to monitor dangerous groups and mobs that are acting in violent way. Being able to speak freely and hateful helps and teaches us in many ways to be way more tolerant in a variety of ways and aspects of life.

Individuals actually create their own identity when freedom of speech applies because the way people look at you after saying something that others may not agree or agree with can put you in a variety of situations. Freedom of press helps and allows citizens to learn about abuses of power and along with the press is the checks and balances system which restrains Government power and the abuse of power. We should be arguing with the government on tweaking laws while society is constantly changing. It is our patriotic duty to criticize the Government and not let the Government treat us unequally.
